It’s Your Move

Every year in Term 6 we offer support to our schools for their Year 6 pupils as they prepare to transition to Secondary School.

We focus on;

• What their hopes are for their future at Secondary School.
• What their worries are about starting a new school.
• Whether they are prepared.

We offer an interactive Reflection Space for students to remember their time at Primary School, to celebrate their uniqueness and to ask questions about Secondary School.

Each student is given a Scripture Union ‘It’s Your Move’ booklet to take home. This survival guide helps students to compare their ideas to some national statistics to help illustrate that their feelings are normal. There are helpful tips, fun quizzes and real life stories.
